CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO AND CARLA HORTA,
YOU ARE NOT A NUMBER TO CARLA HORTA BUT A PIECE OF PUZZLE FROM HER LIFE PATH.
CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO PROUDLY HAS CLIENTS FROM OVER 139 COUNTRIES AND
COUNTING. HER PASSION AND CARE FOR CULTURAL DIVERSITY IS BEAUTIFUL TO EXPIRIENCE.
HER CLIENTS ARE FROM DIFFERENT, COUNTRIES, BELIEFS, RACES AND CULTURES, THEREFORE
THERE IS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ANY OFFENCE, PROFANITY OR ANYTHING THAT CAN
JEOPARDIZE CARLA HORTA AND HER CLIENT’S INTEGRITY AND DECENCY OF HUMAN KIND.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all (prospective) customers of CarlaH Hairstudio, including all
users of services and/or online purchases. By booking an appointment for any service as set out on
the website or conducting an online purchase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. By ticking
the relevant box on the website, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and Conditions
and that you accept them in its entirety , without modification.
GENERAL
1- DEFINITIONS
The terms I “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CarlaH Hairstudio.
The term the “Site” or ‘website’ refers to www.carlah.nl.
the terms “user,” “you,” and “your” refer to site visitors, customers and any other
users of the site.
The term “Service” is defined as Hair consults, Coloring, Haircuts, Hair styling and any other
services provided by CarlaH Hairstudio as set out on the Site.
The term ‘online purchase’ is defined as the sale of physical products via the website.
USE OF THE WEBSITE
2- ACCOUNT CREATION
In order to book a Service or make an online purchase, you may be required to provide information
about yourself including your name, email address, and any other personal information, if deemed
necessary for the Service or online purchase. You agree that all required information given by you to
CarlaH Hairstudio will be accurate, correct and up to date. If any such information changes, you are
requested to update this information before your appointment or at you next booking of a Service or
online purchase. You must not impersonate someone else or provide account information or an
email address other than your own.
3- USE OF THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
CarlaH Hairstudio will only use your information for the purpose of the Service or online purchase in
accordance with the applicable EU Privacy rules (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection
Regulation). More information on how we use your data is provided under PRIVACY below.
We do not share, provide or sale the information we collect, we request minimum level of
personally identification or information to run our business effectively. This is data you provide
us directly, for example: Name, email and phone number. This is enough for CarlaH Hairstudio, if

there is extra information about you, it was on your free will with no obligations to share with us.
CarlaH Hairstudio and Carla Horta does not need extra information besides your name and
phone number. CarlaH Hairstudio does NOT send emails, call or any other communication way
to sell, promote or any other interest related to your contact.
CarlaH Hairstudio or Carla Horta, will contact you by phone or email ONLY in regarding your
appointment. CarlaH Hairstudio or Carla Horta does NOT EVER at any time contact clients for
DONATIONS or any other matter in regarding the CHAIN NGO.
4- LAWFUL PURPOSES
We retain the right to refuse you a Service or online purchase if your account is used for any
illegal or unauthorized purpose or if this would violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You shall not
post or transmit any material through the Site which violates or infringes the rights of others, or
which is threatening, abusive, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar,
obscene, profane, or otherwise objectionable, or contains injurious formulas, recipes, or
instructions, which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil
liability, or otherwise violate any law.
5- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to be financially responsible for all appointments for Services and/or online purchases
made by you or someone acting on your behalf. All bookings for Services and/or online purchases
are personal and for legitimate, non-commercial purposes only.
SERVICES
6- REFUSAL OF SERVICE
The Services are offered subject to our acceptance of your booking or requests. CarlaH Hairstudio
reserves the right to refuse any service at any time to any order, person or entity, without the
obligation to explain the reason for doing so. No booking is deemed to be accepted by us until
payment has been processed or explicitly confirmed by us. We may at any time change or
discontinue any aspect or feature of the Service, subject to us fulfilling our responsibilities as
agreed to you based on acceptance of your payment or our confirmation.
7 – PUNCTUALITY AND COURTESY
Please remember to arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment. If you are running late for
your appointment please be aware that we reserve the right to alter your service based on the
remaining time available.  Be aware that: Carla Horta works solo with a client, therefore CarlaH
Hairstudio or Carla Horta has the right to run late without prior informing the client.
8 – APPOINTMENTS FOR THE FIRST TIME
IF YOU VISIT MY SALON FOR THE FIRST TIME VISIT, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT EXTRA TIME IS NEEDED
TO FULFILL YOUR WISHES. THEREFORE MAKE APPOITMENT WITH EXTRA 15 MINUTES OR CONTACT
CARLA HORTA 0619840020 BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL. OTHERWISE CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO OR CARLA
HORTA HAS THE RIGHT TO CANCEL, MOVE,REPLACE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
9 – APPOINTMENTS FOR LONG HAIR (LONGER THAN 40CM)
Because every client services are meticulous calculated and tailored executed, CarlaH Hairstudio and
Carla Horta, asks you to kindly make appointment with extra 30minutes (1h 30 min ), otherwise
Carla Horta and CarlaH Hairstudio has the right to refuse the appointment without a prior notice.
10 – CHANGING A BOOKING

Appointment alterations requiring more time will be accommodated if availability allows.
Requests for an upgraded appointment may be denied at the discretion of CarlaH Hairstudio,
Carla Horta and management. We kindly ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to request
an appointment upgrade.
Alterations that downgrade originally booked services must be communicated at least 24
hours in advance if timing of the appointment is reduced. If Services are reduced less than 24
hours in advance, resulting in a reduction of appointment timing, you will be charged for the
services originally booked. If you would like to downgrade your appointment and it does NOT
affect the timing (ea. changing a Full Experience + Cut to a Full Experience with no cut), you can
do so at any point leading up to the appointment.
We must implement these policies to ensure the sustainability of CarlaH Hairstudio business
operations as well as stability for Carla Horta.
You can cancel, reschedule, or alter an appointment by emailing us at [email protected]  or calling
Carla Horta by 00 31 (0) 619840020. Be aware it is FASTER by calling. Due to extremely busy
schedule of Carla Horta, emails are looked at in less than 24 hours.
11-CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOWS
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have
reserved time in our schedule exclusively tailor-made for you.
If you have made an appointment and would like to cancel or reschedule you can click on the
link above. In order to avoid a charge of no-show fee of 50% of the original appointment, a
notification at minimum of 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment is required.
First time customers who have not made it to their first appointment will have to pay no-show
fee plus the new appointment fee before the treatment(s). We will contact you by mobile or
any other contact information you provide to us, and with no reply or answer we will
unfortunately have to remove the new appointment made.
12- MEDICAL CONDITIONS
KINDLY INFORM CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO AND CARLA HORTA OF ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS
INCLUDING, PREAGNACY PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING, AS SOME TREATMENTS MAY NOT BE
SUITABLE FOR YOU. CERTAIN MEDICATIONS MAY ALSO PREVENT YOU TO BEING SUITABLE TO
CERTAIN TREATMENTS. A CLIENT CONSULTATION WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AND DELIVER WHAT IS PROPER FOR YOU. CLIENTS MUST INFORM
CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO OF ANY MEDICAL CHANGES.
13- RATINGS AND REVIEWS
AFTER YOUR VISIT, IT IS IMPORTANT FOR CarlaH Hairstudio / Carla Horta and you, to share your
view, experience and results of your visit on the Site or other website services which intermediate
with CarlaH Hairstudio. If by any moment you are NOT happy with any matter, kindly inform CARLA
HORTA ASAP. Carla Horta would be much grateful for your feedback, so she can improve her services
and what’s need to improve in regarding Services and Salon.
14- COMPLAINTS
Any type of services executed by Carla Horta, are tailor made special for you. Carla Horta will
carefully listen to your wishes and give you her professional advice. If you are not satisfied with the
result of the Service, you will not be entitled to a refund (unless Article 33 applies). Should you wish

for any corrections, such additional Services will be subject to additional charges. For complaints,
please alert Carla Horta within 10 calender days (which includes non-working days and holidays) and
we will be happy to discuss how to address your complaint at the discretion of management.
15 – HEALTH AND SAFETY
Salon Hygiene is of course the most important. To achieve optimal cleanliness and impeccable
sustainable ambiance and tools, we use sterilization equipment. We may use protective measures,
such as wearing a mask or keeping enough distance. We ask your understanding and cooperation to
ensure the safety at CarlaH Hairstudio .
Covid 19 and any other serious health threats, preventions and procedures are taken extremely
SERIOUS at CarlaH Hairstudio. If Carla Horta notices t a threat to herself or to the Salon and
other clients, Carla Horta has the right to refuse service without notice. If client has a slight cold,
fever, CarlaH Hairstudio asks the client to exit the Salon immediately.
16 –  COLORS AND ANY TYPE OF TECHNICAL WORK RESULTS
It is important for you to know that CarlaH Hairstudio and Carla Horta take the health of your hair
very serious. Therefore CarlaH Hairstudio works only with ambiance temperature, meaning for some
type of technical work it may need more than one visit to achieve your desired result. Carla Horta
advises you to first contact Carla Horta and ask your questions. Carla Horta will do her upper best to
answer into her own expertise’s the best she can.
17 – PRICE LIST
All prices for our Services may be subject to change. For our latest prices, kindly look at price list
before you make any appointment. CarlaH Hairstudio is a full concept Hairsalon, meaning the
shampoo+ Normal Mask and finishing product are included in the prices of the service chosen by
you. CarlaH Hairstudio does have extra Special treatments that are NOT included in the prices, kindly
ASK what is not included.
SALON RULES AND REGULATIONS
18 –  MY VISIT AT CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO
If you wish bring photos, remember the time period of your booking. Therefore if you bring more
than 3 photos, or if you need more than 5 minutes to retrieve your photo’s from your mobile, you
may exceed the time limit applicable to your booking. Carla Horta is more than happy to listen your
wishes and ideas but if you exceed the 15minute consultation time, it is NOT Carla Horta
responsibility that a shorter working time will be left to render the service that you booked. If the
original time of the appointment is exceeded, CarlaH Hairstudio or Carla Horta has the right to
charge extra, from 50.00 euros per 30 minutes.
19 – MOBILE PHONES
BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A NUMBER TO CARLA AND BECAUSE , EVERY SERVICES ARE TAILORD
MADE  OR WILL BE EXECUTED WITH YOU  FOR YOU ( CLIENT ). CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO  AND  CARLA
HORTA WORK WITH  HIGH CONCENTRATION. MOBILE PHONES MUST BE PUT IN SILENT MODE. IF
YOU DISRESPECT THIS REQUEST , IT IS NOT CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO OR CARLA HORTA’S RESPONSIBILITY
FOR ANY WRONG RESULTS. CARLA HORTA`S CONCENTRATION DEPENDS ON YOU.
20 – OPENING HOURS
CarlaH Hairstudio is OPEN on the days specified on the Site from 9:00 until 18:00. CarlaH Hairstudio
is CLOSED for the time period of her leave for holiday’s as well as on Dutch national holidays,
Sundays and Tuesdays. The WHEN CARLA HORTA GRANTS YOUR SPECIAL REQUEST TO WORK ON

ANY OF THE DAYS WHEN SHE IS CLOSED OR AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS, AN EXTRA
CHARGING FEE OF 15% WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL.
21 –  SALON CLOSED WITHOUT NOTICE
Carla Horta is a SOLO BUSINESS Entrepreneur, in case of emergency or health issues Carla Horta
has the right to close the salon without any previews notice.
22- SMOKING AND VAPING IS ALLOWED ONLY IN THE GARDEN.
SMOKING INSIDE THE TEA HOUSE IS STRICTLY FORBIDEN
23 – CHILDREN
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT, CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO IS SUITABLE ONLY FOR CHILDREN STARTING
AGE OF 12.
24 – ANIMALS
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ANIMALS ARE NOT SUITABLE IN THE SALON. ASSISTANCE DOGS ARE
PERMITED.
25 – PERSONAL ITEMS
PLEASE ENSURE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING THE PREMISES AS
WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS. ANY UNCLAIMED ITEMS WILL BE GIVEN TO
CHARITY IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CLAIMED AFTER 1 YEAR .
ONLINE PURCHASES
26 – ORDER CONFIRMATION
We will email you to confirm the placement of your order for an online purchase specifying the
details concerning the delivery of the product purchased. In the event that there is an error in this
email confirmation, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible. We ask you to LOOK at
your SPAM email in case you do not receive our email confirmation.
27 – PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We endeavor to describe and display the products for online purchases as accurately as possible.
While we try to be as clear as possible in explaining the product, please do not accept that the Site is
entirely accurate, current, or error-free. From time to time we may correct errors in pricing and
descriptions. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order with an incorrect price listing.
28 – GIFT VOUCHERS
All gift vouchers should be used within 6 months from the date when purchased.

The Site and Service contain intellectual property owned by CarlaH Hairstudio including
trademarks, copyrights, proprietary information, and other intellectual property. You may not
modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from,
distribute, display, reproduce or perform, or in any way exploit in any format whatsoever any of
the Site or Service Content or intellectual property, in whole or in part, without our prior written
consent. We reserve the right to immediately remove you from the Service, without refund, if
you are caught violating this intellectual property policy.

Certain content, products and services available via our Service may include materials from
third-parties. Third-party links on this Site may direct you to third-party websites that are not
affiliated with us. CarlaH Hairstudio includes these Sites and co-branded pages to provide you
with access to information and services that you may find useful or interesting.
We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not
warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites,
or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services,
resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites.
Please review carefully the third-party policies and practices and make sure you understand
them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding
third-party products should be directed to the third-party.

31 – USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS
If at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a
request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, photos, or other
materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise, you agree that we may, at any
time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium
any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation:
a) To maintain any comments in confidence;
b) To pay compensation for any comments; or
c) To respond to any comments.
The Site may pull content from our users who share photos and videos on Instagram or other
social media platforms using our name, brand or product-related hashtags, including, without
limitation, (collectively, CarlaH Hairstudio #, or tagging the @CarlaH Hairstudio account
(collectively, “Photos”). You acknowledge and agree that the Photos may be used in CarlaH
Hairstudio’s showroom and office space, retail locations and emails and on the Site, and you
hereby grant us permission to use and authorize others to use your name or social media handle
in association with the Photos for identification, publicity related to the Services and similar
promotional purposes, including after the termination of your Account or the Services. You
represent and warrant that the posting and use of your Photos, including to the extent such
Photos include your name, username, likeness, voice, or photograph, does not violate,
misappropriate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, privacy
rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark and other intellectual property rights.
You understand that when using the Site, you will be exposed to User Submissions from a variety
of sources and that CarlaH Hairstudio is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or
intellectual property rights of or relating to such User Submissions. You further understand and
acknowledge that you may be exposed to User Submissions that are inaccurate, offensive,
indecent, or objectionable, and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable
rights or remedies you have or may have against CarlaH Hairstudio with respect thereto, and
agree to indemnify and hold CarlaH Hairstudio, its owners/operators, affiliates, and/or licensors,
harmless to the fullest extent allowed by law regarding all matters related to your use of the
Site.

You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright,
trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary rights unless you are the owner

of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant
CarlaH Hairstudio all of the license rights granted herein. You further agree that your comments
will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful,
racially or ethnically offensive, abusive, pornographic or obscene material, or encourages
conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, violate any law, post advertisements or
solicitations of business, nor contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way
affect the operation of the Service or any related Website. You may not use a false email
address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as
to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their
accuracy. We do not endorse and take no responsibility and assume no liability for any

We reserve the right to update any portion of our Site and Service, including these Terms and
Conditions, at any time. Such amendments are effective immediately upon your next booking of a
Service or order for online purchase after us posting the new Terms and Conditions on this Site. We
will post the most recent and older versions of our Terms and Conditions to the Site and list the
effective dates on the pages of our Terms and Conditions.
33 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES CAUSED BY YOUR
USE OF THE SITE SUCH AS. IN CONNECTION WITH (I) ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR,
OMISSION, DENIAL OF SERVICE, ATTACK, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY IN
OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS, OR LINE OR SYSTEM FAILURE; (II) LOSS OF
REVENUE, ANTICIPATED PROFITS, BUSINESS, SAVINGS, GOODWILL OR DATA; AND (III) THIRD
PARTY THEFT OF, DESTRUCTION OF, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF
YOUR INFORMATION OR PROPERTY, UNLESS SUCH LIABILITY ARRISES OUT OF OUR GROSS
NEGLIGENCE OR WILFULL MISCONDUCT.
IN CASE OF NEGLIGENT PERFORMANCE IN PROVIDING SERVICES BY CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO AS
DEFINED UNDER DUTCH LAW (TEKORTKOMING), THE CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF CARLAH
HAIRSTUDIO SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE SERVICE OR ONLINE
PURCHASE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED 100.EUROS
34 – NOTICES
All notices, requests, demands, and other communications under this Agreement shall be in
writing and properly addressed as follows: [email protected]
35 – GOVERNING LAW; VENUE; MEDIATION
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and governed by the laws of The Netherlands
and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the Dutch Courts. The parties agree to attempt to first resolve any dispute, claim, or
controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement by friendly negotiation between you and
CarlaH Hairstudio or either parties legal representative before bringing any actions in court.
36- RECOVERY OF LITIGATION EXPENSES
If any legal action or any arbitration or other proceeding is brought for the enforcement of this
Agreement, or because of an alleged dispute, breach, default, or misrepresentation in

connection with any of the provisions of this Agreement, the successful or prevailing party or
parties shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and other costs incurred in that
action or proceeding, in addition to any other relief to which it or they may be entitled.
37 – SEVERABILITY
If any term, provision, covenant, or condition of this Agreement is held by an arbitrator or a
court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the rest of the Agreement
shall remain in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected, impaired, or invalidated.

38 – TRADEMARKS
CARLAH HAIRSTUDIO, is a trade of CarlaH Hairstudio / Carla Horta. Use of the Site do not create
any express or implied right to use such trade or service marks, and such trade or service marks
may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not properly authorized by
CarlaH Hairstudio, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion or in any manner that
disparages or discredits CarlaH Hairstudio.

The use of any name, trademark, trade name, service mark, logo, symbol or other proprietary
designation or marking of or belonging to any third party making products or services available
on the Site should not be construed as an endorsement or sponsorship of the Site by any such
third party, or as the participation by any such third party in the offering of goods or information
through the Site.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records,
unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
